So most days I have these great thoughts that strike me like an ah-ha moment, and I say, “Wow, I really need to blog about this. I want to remember this and share this.”
And then I get super busy and forget. lol
And then there are days like today, where all hell breaks loose, all of my good intentions go to the wayside and my plumbing breaks (stops up. literally), the cleaning and the painting don’t get done, and we basically have to decide whether or not we want to risk breaking into the main line or whether we want to wait until Monday to call the plumber. Because I am so cheap that I would rather miss showers and pee into a bucket then pay a plumber on a weekend.
Wow, writing that down sounds really bad. Really funny, but really stupid. But I’m still laughing.
And so in my escapism I turn to Facebook and Thirty-One.
Here I see that the wonderful Melissa Fietsam does something awesome that I want to adopt. The first party of every month gets all of the profits donated to the hostess’s favorite charity.
Doesn’t that kick butt?? Now THIS is a perk of having my own business!
